![]() like i'd make plans based off of information i didn't realize came from a dream a few years ago it got to the point where i would have trouble differentiating whether or not i really did something or if i dreamed it. I have really vivid dreams pretty regularly, but i've never done much to instigate it besides writing them down on occasion. Wait what that means you sleep 12 hours q day When it works, you have way more time in the day though, which is sweet. Yea, I tried polyphasic sleep once but it's too difficult to maintain unless you work at home and literally have no major commitments because if you miss one of the sleep increments, you're a zombie for the next few days. Since it's magnitudes more realistic, won't you get turned down? Problem is real life wants you to conform. The only problem is when you miss one or you can't get to sleep during one you get totally fucked up I slept in 4 hour chunks every 8 hours and it actually worked pretty well It takes a while to get to that point, but those are the basic ways to acquire it. You'll be able to remember more and more of your dream and then subconsciously you'll be able to differentiate between the dream and reality better, which will be necessary for lucid dreaming. You need to keep a dream diary and record everything that you remember about your dream every morning. Usually, the numbers will be all messed up and that can let you know you are dreaming and then that will put you into a lucid dream. I do inconsistently, but basically you need to train your mind to subconsciously identify triggers such as looking at clocks and reading the time. Pretty sure anyone who actually has done that ends up just being miserable and going back to their reasonable life. I read somewhere that splitting sleep into multiple smaller blocks is meant to be better for you. You can't really do a lot of physical exercise though.
